Gardens and drives in Hertford

The practice address is here. Mrs Antony’s plot went from rough ground to lawn, paving and gravel.

The Garden Centre on Birchall Lane is the practice address. Mrs Antony’s back garden was rough ground. It is now lawn, sandstone, gravel on a change of level, a new fence, and a utility area at the bottom.

Plots in the county town often fall towards the Lea or sit on mixed older ground, so levels are drawn. A vegetable patch can stay if that is the gardening you enjoy. The rest of the garden should not depend on every Sunday.

East Herts Council covers preservation orders. Conifers, fruit trees and large boundary trees are on the surgery list when a garden is being opened up.
